Management Profiles

David Moeai, Executive Director

"Treat every resident as if they are Mom or Dad,” is Dave’s simple philosophy. Dave was born and raised in California and moved to Utah to attend the University of Utah, where he studied business administration. After graduation, Dave worked in the healthcare staffing and pharmaceutical industries before enrolling in graduate school at Brigham Young University, where he was first introduced to senior care. He immediately felt a deep connection. Dave feels strongly that, “if the mindset of serving one’s very own Mom or Dad is adopted, and becomes the benchmark for care expectations, residents will feel more than satisfied with their Legacy Village experience.” Dave enjoys spending time with his wife, children and extended family. He enjoys barbecuing, competitive “anything,” golfing, traveling and undertaking home-improvement projects (regardless of how successful they turn out).
